Audrey Margaret Macie, 98, of Harmony Township, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 13, 2025, at Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford, Pa.

She was born on October 24, 1926, in Sewickley, Pa, to the late John and Nancy (McConville) Quigley. Audrey graduated from St. Veronica High School in Ambridge.

Audrey met the love of her life, Milton “Red” at Pop Marrow’s Skating Rink during high school, and they would later marry in 1949 and enjoy 74 years of love and devotion.

She worked various jobs during her early years; a dress shop on Merchant Street, Stangel’s Bakery, and National Electric. She would later work and retire from JC Penney’s as the Fine Jewelry Sales Manager after 25+ years of service.

In retirement, Audrey enjoyed traveling to visit family and friends while cherishing time spent with family at her home. She appreciated the childhood friendships that has lasted throughout her life, along with the kindness shown by family and friends to her and her family members throughout their lives. Audrey valued her Irish heritage and shared her wit, humor and charm with everyone she met.

Audrey was a member of Good Samaritan Church, St. Veronica’s Card Club, Harmony Township Ladies Club, and Highland Elementary School PTA.

Audrey is survived by her loving children; Robert (Mikki) Macie of Moon Twp, Nancy (Frank) Serrao of Cleveland, OH, and David (Belinda) Macie of Fremont, CA. Six grandchildren; Jenn (Daniel) McNeely, Matthew “Mat” Monahan, Kelly (David) Baker, Kathleen (Anthony) Grkman, Jada Macie, and Kayden Macie. Three great-grandchildren; Kaitlyn Macie, Jayse McNeely, and Millie Baker and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy (Jack) Starr, and her brother, Vincent “Irish” Quigley.

Per Audrey’s request, all services will be private. 

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made in Audrey’s name to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, Pa 15001 or to Tapestry Senior Living in Moon Township, 500, Cherrington Parkway, Coraopolis, Pa 15108.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Corless-Matter Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 1133 Church Street, Ambridge, Pa 15003.
