Demaris Meanor

Demaris E. Meanor, 82, of Baden, died Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Beaver Elder Care.

Demaris was born on October 29, 1938 in East Palestine, OH, the daughter of the late, Chester and Marion (Allensworth) Whitehouse. She enjoyed spending time with family and cooking for the holidays.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Larry Meanor Sr.; son, Eric Vanyo Sr.; and three step-sons, Richard Meanor, Russel Meanor, and Daryl Meanor.

Demaris is survived by three daughters, Cynthia L. Morelli, Judy Meanor, Susane Gruning and her husband, Mike; longtime companion, Thomas Gaona; step-son, Jack Meanor, and his wife Karen; two daughters-in-law, Sandra Vanyo, and Kerry Monahan; and a sister, Lynne Swoboda.

Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Jessica (Bobby) Jones, Jordan (Heather) Monahan, Eric (Ashley) Vanyo Jr., Dana (Ryan) Hallisey, Hannah Meanor, Evan Monahan, Greer Monahan, JJ Meanor, Vincent Morelli, and Emma Morelli; and many great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Corless-Matter Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1133 Church Street Ambridge, PA 15003, www.corlessmatterfuneralhome.com, where a service will be held Friday at 10am. Pastor Matt Klenk will officiate.
