Dorothy Starr

Dorothy A. Starr, 100, of Baden, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Concordia Villa St. Joseph.

Born May 6, 1921, in Dundalk, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late John and Nancy (McConville) Quigley. Dorothy graduated from St. Veronica High School and Garfield Business Institute. She retired from the accounting office at U.S. Steel Corp. Dorothy was a very active member within her church, St. John the Baptist. She was part of the Christian Mothers Confraternity and a pierogi worker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Starr; and brother, Vincent (Irish) Quigley.

Dorothy is survived by a sister, Audrey (Milton) Macie; and several nieces and nephews who all adored her.

As per Dorothy's request, all services were private.

Interment took place at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
