Gladys Beck

Gladys L. Beck, 82, of Ambridge, died Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Brighton Wellness and Rehabilitation Center.

Born February 7, 1940, in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret Dunlap McPhilomy. Gladys was a cook for Ambridge Meals on Wheels, UNA Member, and member of the Ambridge Eagles Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, William H. Beck Jr., and four brothers.

Surviving is her son, William (Amy) Beck III; two daughters, Mary Beck, and Brenda (Chris) Miller; one brother; one sister; five grandchildren, Lauren (Ben) Taylor, Seth Miller. Zachary Miller, Joshua Beck, and Cole Beck; and one great-grandchild, Brayden Taylor.

Friends will be received Saturday from 11 AM until the time of service at 11:30 AM in the Corless-Matter Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1133 Church Street Ambridge, PA 15003. Pastor Jill McGregor will officiate. Online condolences may be shared at www.corlessmatterfuneralhome.com.
