Our dear Aunt Hilda, 97, died Wednesday, July 28, 2021.
She was born at home on March 3, 1924, in Fairhope, PA, Somerset County, to Edward and Olga (Grenke) Hartge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Colflesh. She was the oldest of her siblings (all predeceased) Emma (Sam) Hartman, Dale Hartge, Edith (Bernnie) Cramer and Albert (Mary Jane) Hartge.
Hilda is survived by her nieces and nephews: Bill (Karen) Hartge, Bernnie (Linda) Cramer, Jim (Lori) Hartge, Lori (Scott) Shoup and Heidi (Lori) Hartge and her great nieces and nephews, Amanda (Brandon) Hartge, Ashley (Zack) Fetchin, Hope (Tom) Duman, Heather (Bryan) Hay, Nathan (Steph) Shoup, Joshua and Jacob Shoup and four great-great niece and nephews: Dallas Kline & Laynee Gaydosh, Lukka Hay, Blakely Fetchin and a host of nieces and nephews from the Colflesh family.
She will be remembered for her steadfast love of Christ, serving others, and loving her family immensely. She retired from Herzbrun Cleaners in Sewickley as a seamstress. She was a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church, Ambridge.
We would like to extend our most gracious thanks and love to the staff of Concordia @ Villa St. Joseph’s Fontbonne Neighborhood where she has resided for several years.
Friends will be received Sunday from 12-4 PM in the Corless-Matter Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1133 Church Street Ambridge, PA 15003, www.corlessmatterfuneralhome.com, where a service will be held Monday at 10 AM.
Officiating services will be her minister Rev. Beth Wierman.
Burial will follow at Lebanon Cemetery in Somerset.
