James E. McKee

James McKee, 94, of Baden, died on Monday, October 7, 2024, at St. John’s Specialty Care in Mars. 

Born June 19, 1930, in Baden, PA, he was the son of the late Samuel McKee and Elizabeth Jane McKee. He is preceded in death by his wife Nancy Lee McKee and his siblings, Sam, Charlotte, and Betty.

Jim was an avid sports fan, being an athlete himself. He enjoyed listening to the Pittsburgh Pirates and local High School Football games on his transistor radio. He served in the Army in the Korean War as a message decoder in Alaska. He also worked at B & W Steel Mill for many years.

Jim was a loving father to his son Mike (Jill) and a devoted Pap-pap to his granddaughter Hannah. He is also the beloved uncle to Lisa (Butch) Baker and great uncle to Clint McKee

Friends will be received Thursday from 6 PM to 8 PM in the CORLESS-MATTER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, LLC, 1133 Church Street, Ambridge, where a service will be held Friday at 10 AM. Rev. Mark Helsel will officiate.

Interment will be at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
