Katherine E. Azadian

Katherine E. Azadian, 91, of Bell Acres, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Allegheny General Hospital.

Born on September 24, 1931, in Aliquippa, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Anna Fugi Gintner. Kay was a kind and genuine individual who will be remembered for her warm heart and compassionate nature.

Her legacy will be cherished by all who knew her. She dedicated herself to various organizations and made a profound impact within her community. Kay was a proud member of the Catholic Daughters of America, the Christian Mothers of Good Samaritan Parish, and the Ladies Auxiliary of Bell Acres Fire Department. In addition to her active involvement in these organizations, Katherine displayed a genuine love for animals and was an avid animal lover.

In addition to her parents, Katherine was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mike Azadian; her son, David Azadian; three brothers, Billy Gintner, Raymond Gintner, Alonzo Gintner; her sister, Mary Gintner; as well as several other beloved family members.

She is survived by her son, Michael Azadian; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Among Kay's closest friends was Nancy Salopek, who had been by her side for many years. Their bond brought joy and support to each other's lives.

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the CORLESS-MATTER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, LLC, 1133 Church Street, Ambridge, where prayers will be held Thursday at 10 AM. A Mass in Katherine's memory will be held on Thursday at 10:30 AM at Good Samaritan Parish, 725 Glenwood Ave, Ambridge. Online condolences may be shared at www.corlessmatterfuneralhome.com.

The Christian Mothers and Ladies Guild will recite a rosary Wednesday at 3:30 PM.

Interment will follow at Good Samaritan Cemetery.
