Marlene Kennedy

Marlene June Kennedy, 88, of Baden, died Monday, August 1, 2022, at Heritage Valley Sewickley.

Born June 7, 1934, in Ambridge, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Garbinsky Tkatch. Marlene was a former waitress at Grant's and Campbell's Inn and a member of the Baden United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching her soap operas, and going out to restaurants. Most of all, Marlene loved spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Marlene was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronald E. Kennedy; and three siblings, Virginia "Jeanie" Raven, Janet Thomas, and Ronald Tkatch.

Surviving are three children, Eric (Tammy) Kennedy, David DeBogovich, and Joyce Stewart; daughter-in-law, Patti DeBogovich; sister-in-law, Velma Blank; five grandchildren, Travis (Katie) Debogovich, Joshua (Ryan) DeBogovich, Aarron (Natasha) Stewart, Ryan Kennedy, and Taylor Kennedy; two great-grandchildren, Danica and Alexis DeBogovich; best friend, Patti Elliott; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the Corless-Matter Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1133 Church Street Ambridge, PA 15003, where prayers will be offered Friday at 10:30 AM with a service to follow at 11 AM at the Baden United Methodist Church, 420 Dippold Ave, Baden, PA 15005, with Rev. Jim Young officiating.

Interment will follow at Economy Cemetery.
