Michael Downey

Michael William Downey, 53, of Conway, died unexpectedly Monday, June 19, 2023, at his residence.

Born on September 20, 1969, in Sewickley, he is the son of William Joseph and Geraldine Ann Tomley Downey Jr. Mike enjoyed spending his time out in the woods camping. He was a passionate man who valued his friends and never hesitated to help people.

In addition to his parents, Mike is survived by his sister, Christine Ann Downey Amsler and her husband, Douglas; his aunt, Kathleen Downey; cousins, Renee (Eric) Hyde, and Mark (Virginia) Downey; best friends, Ray Brooks and Shannon Schell; and many other dear friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents and uncle, Richard Downey.
