Nancy Montini

Nancy Janet Montini, 72, of Mars, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born March 30, 1949, in Sewickley, she was the daughter of the late George A. and Janet M. Shenefelt. She was a member of the Mars United Methodist Church and then the Chippewa United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She retired from Pine Richland Middle School after many years of teaching 7th grade math. For over 25 years, Nancy enjoyed attending family week at Jumonville. She loved riding on the motorcycle with her husband Gene, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving is her loving husband of 49 years, Eugene C. Montini; a son and daughter-in-law, Brian G. and Laura K. Montini, of Northlake TX; a daughter, Christy N. Soltes, of Acworth, GA; four grandchildren, Madison and Jacob Soltes, Acworth, GA, Brandon and Lincoln Montini, Northlake, TX; and a sister and brother-in-law, Beverly A. and R. Richard Swiontek, Beaver.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. A service will be held Wednesday at 11 am at the Gospel Fellowship Presbyterian Church, 161 Mcfann Rd, Valencia. Officiating will be Rev. David O'Leary and Rev. Rodney E. Smith.
