Robert C. Oesterling

Robert C. Oesterling, 92, of Hopewell Township, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at the Beaver Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.

Born on March 29, 1931, in Bellevue, Robert was the beloved son of Carl Oesterling and Anna Prunty. Throughout his life, Robert exemplified hard work and commitment in his career as a draftsman for 38 years. His contributions to American Bridge Company were invaluable and he was highly respected by his colleagues.

Beyond his professional achievements, Robert had a zest for life and pursued various hobbies and interests. He enjoyed bowling and spending time playing cards, especially pinochle with friends at Circle of Friends.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen Oesterling.

Robert is survived by his son, Robert (Trish) Oesterling; two daughters, Lynn (Ray) Morrow and Lisa (Don) Fields; his sister Lois (Bill) Hartenbach; grandchildren, Ross, Blake (Kathleen), Taylor, Byron (Lauren), Branden, Brett, Don, and Samantha; and great-grandchildren, Isabella, Camila, Elena, Chris Dominic, and Aaron.

As per the family's request, all services were private. Professional Services were handled by the CORLESS-MATTER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, LLC 1133 Church Street, Ambridge, PA 15003.

Robert C. Oesterling is deeply missed, but his memory will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
