Ronald D. Fishel

Ronald D. Fishel, 75, of Ambridge, has passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born on March 1, 1948, in Punxsutawney, PA, he was the son of the late Albert and Julia Miller Fishel.

Ronald was extremely dedicated to his work as a custodian at St. John's Lutheran Church. Outside of work, Ronald had a deep passion for spending time with his family. He cherished every moment he had with them and made it a priority to create lasting memories together.

One of Ronald's proudest accomplishments was his handyman skills. Whenever there was something that needed fixing or building around the house, he would always be armed with his trusty saw and hammer. From building a kitchen to constantly tinkering with toys, Ronald's determination and craftmanship were admirable. Ronald also enjoyed spending time tending to his garden every summer.

He is survived by his loving wife, Christine Skiles Fishel; daughter, Heather (Anthony) Luke; and granddaughter, Madeline Luke. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred Mitchell, and Robert Mitchell. 

Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the Corless-Matter Funeral Home & Cremation Services located at 1133 Church Street, Ambridge, PA 15003. A service will be held Thursday at 11 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1320 Church St, Ambridge. Online condolences may be shared at www.corlessmatterfuneralhome.com.
