Rose Barlow

On October 7th 2021, Rose Barlow, 72, of Leetsdale passed away after several months of illness following a stroke.
Born in Sewickley October 11, 1948 to Nicholas and Josephine Opalka, she was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Neil Barlow, her brothers, William & Norman Opalka, and her beloved daughter Virginia (Ginger) Barlow, and James Opalka.

She is survived by her sons, William and Neil Barlow of Fair Oaks, a step-son, Jerry Barlow of Ambridge and Linda (Michele) Vaccaro, Sewickley, and her nieces and nephews.

Rose graduated from Quaker Valley, class of '66, she has continued to enjoy lifelong friendships with her classmates. Rose started her career in office work but later moved into service at Sewickley's Fish Market, Rite Aid, Safrans and Giant Eagle, where she retired. Rose was an avid sports fan, loved flea markets, craft shows, all things Disney, and her cats! She was a member of the Leetsdale Garden Club and has always been active in Relay for Life.
Her other strong love, was that of the Lord, Rose was attending Sewickley United Methodist Church, it is here we will have a celebration of her Life at 11am, on Friday October 15,2021
