Steve Korol, 69, of Rocky Mount, N.C., previously of Ambridge, passed away January 18, 2021.
Steve was born on March 30, 1951 in Salzburg, Austria, the son of the late Michal and Kazimiera Kowalczewska Korol. He was a veteran of the US Air Force (E5), where he was an Electronic Computer Systems Technician. Steve worked for Consolidated Diesel/Cummins Engine Company, in Whitaker, N.C., as well as various other local companies in Pennsylvania before moving to Rocky Mount. (Bollingers, Gradek Music, Shasta Inc., Hydril, Eastman Kodak) He also worked for his Father's business, Korol Electronics.
Surviving are sons, Stephan (Unchu) and Patrick (Danielle); brother, Casimir; sisters, Maria Ayres, and Wanda (Joseph) Selley, and Krystyna (David) Cairns; also, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Korol.
As per the family's request, all services were private.
Interment took place at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
