Meet Our Owner
Alyssa Corless
Owner, Funeral Director, Licensed Insurance Agent, Certified Celebrant
Alyssa was born and raised in Chippewa Township and now resides in Ambridge. She was a 2010 graduate of Blackhawk High School and continued her education at California University of Pennsylvania and Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and an Associate’s Degree in Specialized Technology. She became a first-generation licensed Funeral Director in 2016 and a Licensed Insurance Agent. She then furthered her education, becoming an Insight Certified Celebrant.
She is a lifelong and active member of the Chippewa United Methodist Church where she volunteers with the United Methodist Women to provide a luncheon after funeral services. She has donated her time every summer since 2011 to act as a counselor for teenagers at an adventure camp at Jumonville Camp and Retreat Center. Alyssa is also an active participant in the community through Chippewa Area Lions Club, Ambridge Rotary, and Order of the Eastern Star.
In her leisure time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, rock climbing, kayaking, and traveling.
